Cor's Diner in Centurion

"We went last Thursday night for the pizza special and was also our first time at Cor's Diner and was that a great idea. Was a bit confusing at first to try and figure out where to go to get to the restaurant from the parking lot, but managed to find the seating area around the corner of the vintage cars building. They don't have a massive selection of pizzas, but the two we ordered were fantastic. We ordered the Meat Feast and Italian, and these really were great choices. The pizza base was thin, tasty, crunchy and perfectly cooked. The toppings were generous and there was a lot of cheese, which was delicious. The pizza had great seasoning and one of the best we have had in a long time, definitely worth the price. The waiters are friendly and attentive. When we returned this week Wednesday to try their burger special we were unfortunately told that they had run out of burger buns. We then thought why not go for the pizza again (even though it was not pizza special night) and try some of their other pizzas as the last round was such a hit, but were unfortunately told that they do not serve pizza on Wednesday nights. The waiter then offered us a discount on our alternative meal choices for the inconvenience and we therefore tried the 500g T bone with chips and the Chicken Schnitzel with mushroom sauce and chips. The T-bone was succulent, juicy, perfectly cooked (medium to rare as we ordered) and the basting was divine. The hand-cut handmade chips were delicious, just wish we got more of them. The chicken schnitzel was crunchy, succulent and generous in portion size, however the batter or chicken itself needed a bit of seasoning. The sauce lacked flavor and was very bland. But overall our meal was great. We will definitely be back."

"The venue was closed for a private function but the manager/owner welcomed us regardless. Mark, our server, was rushed off his feet hosting the function yet still found the time to make sure our drinks were permanently topped up.... with a smile! Thank you for your amazing hospitality"

What really stood out was the manager’s kindness and professionalism. We were treated so well and even received complimentary drinks, which was a great touch. And it's pet friendly. "This is a truly unique spot! If you're an enthusiast of classic VW Kombis, Beetles, and other vintage cars, this is definitely a place to visit. They have an impressive indoor display featuring a wide variety of beautifully maintained vintage vehicles. There’s also a restaurant and bar on site, and they sometimes host live music, which adds to the great atmosphere. On Sundays, they offer a traditional Sunday cooked lunch that is absolutely worth it — and very affordable. They also serve delicious wood-fired pizzas and a variety of other menu options, including a kids’ menu. One area for improvement would be the shading. Most of the seating is outdoors. While there are trees, they don’t provide enough shade across the entire dining area. Umbrellas are available, which does help, but additional permanent shading would make the experience even better."
